"OVER MY SHOULDER is an attempt to describe this country [eastern Oregon], the times, living conditions, and participants that were like pea pods on a vine and peas in a pod. Each alike, yet each different. It is a story I tried to get my father to write. My nephew, Earl Weatherford, started me writing this story."
