The second in the author's "Dere Mable" series, which purport to be a series of humorous letters sent back home to his best girl by an inadequately-educated soldier during World War I. Letters are accompanied by 25 black & white illustrations by Corporal G. William ("Bill") Breck. With 7 pages of ads and with 2 illustrations from other publications of this publisher. --- In tan paper-covered boards with Breck illustration to front panel. Volume has no dust jacket. --- A rather brittle copy, with tears to paper along spine, age-toning to covers and leaves but volume remains relatively stable.; 12mo - 7 to 7-1/2 in. tall; 69, (7, ads) pages.
