Some men chase glory. Others just want to make it home alive.
Out in the Cold
Rusty Steel and Angus McFarlin head deep into forgotten country—cold-water streams they haven’t trapped in over a decade. Determined to prove they’ve still got grit, the old mountain men face the brutal Rockies head-on. But when a blizzard hits and strange tracks appear in the snow, they begin to wonder what stalks them—weather, man, or something worse.
Back at the compound, the cold outside has nothing on the heat inside. Betty Forrester and Crow war chief Dahteste are at odds, and their husbands—Levi and Will—struggle to keep peace as tensions mount. Two proud women, one tight cabin, and no room to back down.
Rocky Mountain Fever
With winter breaking, Rusty and Angus finish curing their prized pelts—but trouble’s never far. When smoke rises near the compound, Levi and Rusty investigate. What they find sparks gunfire and bloodshed.
Gold fever has come to the high country, and with it, desperate men ready to kill for a stake.
This two-book bundle, including Out in the Cold and Rocky Mountain Fever, continues the raw saga of Levi Johnson—where winter takes its toll, greed runs deep, and survival is the only law that matters."Synopsis" may belong to another edition of this title.

Store description
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
