Continue the author's "epic series of the human race reborn after a world-destroying cataclysm" in this sequel to his "The People of the Abyss." Orig. published in digest form in the early 1900s, this is the First Edition, first printing in this hardcover format from Avalon, 1965. It is an Ex-Lib copy, with the usual stamps in the front matter & ffep neatly sliced out (presumably where card pocket was). Nonetheless it apparently never circulated, as it is in Near fine condition: extremely clean, binding straight & strong, pages slightly of-white but unmarked. The unclipped DJ, with vivid cover art by Michael M. Peters (orig. $3.25 price intact on front flap) is in truly Fine condition, protected under the library mylar. This has been carefully removed & replaced with brand new clear mylar cover--stunning--no wear or fading! . Our photos depict the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same Day Shipping on orders received Weekdays before 2 pm (Pacific time); later orders, weekends, & holidays ship very next business day.…
