Original hand-painted advertising design for drapers Leak & Thorp, of York. Unnamed, but produced by Ben Johnson & Company, also of York. Measures approx. 7.25" x 4.75" (18cm x 12cm). "View" inscribed in pencil to central blank panel. Rough-cut to left edge. Otherwise, patches of residue to blank rear corners, where the design was fixed down at some point. Otherwise some relatively minor rubbing and handling, commensurate with age. Remains a nice original survivor nonetheless.
