Color photograph of a well-dressed, handsome African-American man, taken circa 1939. Photograph measures approximately 4.5 x 3 inches, matted to a size of approximately 7.5 x 5 inches. Labeled Ollie Williams to lower edge of matte. Text to verso reads: Ollie Williams negro tailor at / date of this picture had been working for / H. E. Richardson 25 years when this was taken. / Started work in 1914. He nursed the children of H. E. (Roy) Richardson, Will Mann, H. E. (Roy Jr.) and / Lenoir when babies. Together with original funeral program (four pages), dated Tuesday October 28, 1947 (Died October 24, 1947). Macedonia Baptist Church, Georgetown, Texas. Measures approximately 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Photograph is very good; matte soiled and incomplete, but included to preserve biographical information; program worn, creased, and soiled. 709-450. Seller Inventory # 450
