From the rock and roll era, vibrant sounds come-alive in the following pages through memories of the Flippers band members and passionate fans.Founding band members would be graduates of an elite college prep high school located in Hays, Kansas; St. Joseph’s Military Academy, (SJMA). Loaded with regimentation, but when the Flippers arrived on stage, they lightened the atmosphere not only at their Alma-Mater but wherever they played their musical instruments. You will be an eyewitness to inside stories as told by band-members in their own words, some to be voiced for the first time. With guitars, a piano, saxophone, drums and a microphone, they aroused sons and daughters of the Greatest Generation to the lively new dance of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
