About this Item
**This item will require an additional shipping charge. Please contact us before purchasing.** This spectacular poster celebrates the international nature of the Olympics with flags of competing nations intertwined and unfurling. Prominent at the upper right is the Antwerp coat of arms beneath which stands a classical Greek nude discus thrower. The city of Antwerp is visible in the background. The poster was designed by Walter Van der Ven & Co. of Anvers (French name for Antwerp). Lithography was done by E. Stockmans & Co., also of Anvers. Image size: 31" x 22 1/4", matted and framed to: 40" x 30 3/4". Condition: Poster has been professionally linen backed. Faintly visible is the fact that the poster had been folded once horizontally and vertically. Very good condition with strong colors. Seller Inventory # PR00621
