Kit always believed that to be a somebody you had to marry a somebody. So she did. A handsome young Harvard lawyer. A society wedding. A promising future. Then came the house in the suburbs. The children. The model life of the model wife of an ambitious man. And the boredom. And the secrets. And the burning question: What if. ? Kate thought otherwise, that life could be as wide as the world--and as exciting-- if she lived only for herself. So she built a future on ambition. Rose to the top of the advertising game. Wore the best clothes, went to the best parties and bedded down with the best lovers all over the world, and tried hard not to wonder what was missing. Cover faded on spine; 348 pages.
