Dieses Lehrbuch bietet eine knappe und quantitative Darstellung von Entscheidungsproblemen der industriellen Produktion von Sachg�tern und Dienstleistungen. Es entstand als Unterrichtsmaterial f�r meine Anf�nger-Vorlesung "Operations Management" an der Leibniz Universit�t Hannover. Jedes der 16 Kapitel hat dem Umfang einer in sich geschlossenen 90-min�tigen Vorlesung mit begleitender �bung. Als Tutorial f�r den Hochschulunterricht enth�lt das Buch auch eine Vielzahl von Verst�ndnisfragen und �bungsaufgaben, zum Teil mit L�sungen.

Zu den einzelnen Abschnitten des Buches habe ich kleine Video-Clips produziert, in denen die jeweiligen Inhalte erl�utert werden. Diese Video-Clips finden Sie �ber operations-management-online.de in meinen Youtube-Kanal. Die Clips werden von meiner studentischen Klientel sehr gerne genutzt und erleichtern das wichtige Selbststudium ganz erheblich. Sie erlauben es auch, das Buch nach dem Unterrichtsmodell des flipped/inverted classroom zu verwenden, was hervorragend funktioniert. Durch den Verband der Hochschullehrer f�r Betriebswirtschaft e.V. wurde das Buch mit dem Lehrbuchpreis 2015 ausgezeichnet.
