The contemporary leather binding is a bit rubbed, but solid, and in the style of a much earlier binding from the incunabula era, with a curious notched leather label. The name "T.D.G. Sisson" is boldly written on the ffep - but I can find nothing about him. A handsome and possibly unique early American binding.
