Open to Work is an essential book for understanding how artificial intelligence is transforming the world of work and what we can do to remain relevant amidst this change. AI will modify current jobs, but it will also open up new opportunities for those who can combine technology with uniquely human capabilities. As it optimizes certain processes, people will be able to focus on what no machine can replicate: creativity, empathy, judgment, complex problem-solving, and imagination. This redistribution of labor doesn't diminish the human role; it makes it more valuable. Open to Work charts a smart and clear path toward the future of work, and equally important, Ryan and Aneesh generously offer to guide us as we identify the skills and mindset we need to navigate new technologies and increasing organizational complexity.
