Printed wraps. Side folding journal style format. Pagination runs iv, 1439-1450. A single issue of this journal offering philosophical articles on subjects relating to science and religion, including newer scientific theories and the supernatural. This issue with part twenty of "Body and Mind; or the Data of Moral Physiology," by Felix L. Oswald, a Beligian American freethought and vegetarianism advocate; "Dreams Sleep and Consciousness. A Psychological Study (Concluded)," by George M. Gould; "The Lost Manuscript (Continued)," by Gustav Freytag, a German author whose work perpetuated negative stereotypes of Jews and Poles, as well as promoted the myth of German superiority. GOOD+ condition. Minor toning, soiling and wrinkling to the piece.
