frontis (portrait), illustrations (1 color), xxvi, 211p. dj (a few spots and some minor chipping). 23cm. Browning on 4 blank pages probably due to now-absent newspaper clippings. Top edge gilt. Trial proofs of frontis and one other illustration laid in (x'd on front in black). One hundred sixty-five copies were printed on Van Gelder paper (of which this is one) and fifteen copies on extra quality Imperial Japan paper.

We started our business in 1971 as mail-order specialists on Africa and African-Americana. We soon expanded to include material on Asia and the Middle East. We also purchase antiquarian and rare books and libraries in all fields. A suite of offices at 2348 Whitney Avenue is open by appointment and contains 15,000 volumes. Easily accessible from I-91 or the Wilbur Cross Parkway. Catalogs are issued occasionally on listed specialties.
