He built an empire from crime — and lost it all to the darkness beyond the grave.

Jason Doyle had it all — money, muscle, and a reputation that made even the hardest men think twice. In the shadowy world of drugs, deals, and double-crosses, he ruled the streets like a king. But one bad job, one betrayal, and one bullet too many send him spiralling into the icy black waters of the canal… and into something far worse than death.

Trapped between life and whatever comes after, Jason’s soul drifts through the wreckage of the world he left behind — his friends on the run, his enemies closing in, and his family grieving a son who isn’t quite gone. As he struggles to make sense of his new existence, a darker truth begins to surface: not every spirit finds peace, and not every sin can be buried.

Gritty, haunting, and impossible to forget, Somebody I Once Knew is an urban noir with a chilling paranormal twist — where redemption might lie beyond the grave, but damnation is always closer than you think.
