A survivor. A corporate shark. And a case of mistaken identity to warm the heart.
Hell on a stick. Is thirty-three too young to lose your mind? Sabrina Monroe is a survivor, but this epic streak of bad luck has worn her thin. Lately, she swears she's seeing and hearing things.
With everything on her plate, she doesn't have time to riddle out these oddball, mystical happenings. Corporate vultures are circling Maple Manor, the inn that's been in her family for generations. And her new handyman looks like he's better suited for the cover of GQ than Popular Mechanics.
Jason O'Neil can barely tell a Phillips from a flathead, but when Maple Manor's stubbornly sale-resistant owner mistakes him for the new Mr. Fixit, he doesn't hesitate to trade his Guccis for work boots. It's the perfect chance to bag the lush mountain property for his company's next five-star golf course. What could possibly go wrong?
He quickly discovers that not only is Sabrina no pushover, but he's also enjoying the push and pull between them way more than he should. And when a new threat emerges, Jason finds himself risking everything to follow his heart—and convince Sabrina he's her ally.
Note: Welcome to Rosemist, a colorful, not-so-sleepy Vermont town with unparalleled beauty, quirky residents, and a touch of mystical whimsy.
Steamy, sweet, witty & sassy ONCE UPON A KISS is an uplifting and reflective romantic comedy with an added touch of mysticism.
Editorial Reviews:
The author takes a classic melodrama and makes it new. Fans of Hallmark movies are going to love this story, it has all of the elements that that genre does so well. I always love stories set in New England and the author has captured the feel of that part of the country very well. The storyline is wholesome for the most part with an interesting twist from the past. It is amusing and difficult to put down, and the author wraps it up with a very satisfying happy ever after ending.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
