Omar Vizquel career fielding percentage was .985 which tied for first for All-Time of shortstops. He also accumulated 2,877 hits. But his lifetime WAR was only 45.6 and his OPS+ was only 82 with 100 being league average. Never did well in the Hall of Fame voting and then allegations from his ex-wife of domestic abuse ended consideration for induction into the Hall of Fame. Both the non price clipped Dust Jacket and the book are in very good condition. I have over 200 baseball biographies in stock. Discounts are available when you purchase multiple items on the same order.

Review
The writing is an easy and fun read, with many anecdotes about fellow major league ballplayers. -- Book Reviewer "The Morning Journal"
The book does what it should--converts the nine-time Gold-Glove shortstop's memories, thoughts and ideas to print perfectly. We finished to book in two reads. -- Book Reviewer "Star Beacon"
You know how good this book is? It's good enough to make it into my library, and my library consists of a sink, a toilet, and a tub. I read it on the throne every day. -- Book Reviewer "WKNR Radio"
An entertaining and light read about the life of one of the most popular players in Cleveland Indians' history and a true baseball renaissance man. -- Book Reviewer "Tribune Chronicle"
Vizquel's delightful sense of humor is evident when he explains that as a child he had always assumed that Batman and the Sesame Street characters he watched on television were Venezuelan . . . Readers will be interested in the chapter "Cashing In" in which the author presents eye-opening information about baseball salary contracts. -- Book Reviewer "School Library Journal"
