Old Booty! A Serio-Comic Sailor's Tale. By W. T. Moncrieff. Illustrated by Robert Cruikshank. Published by William Kidd in 1830. Size: 4 x 6 1/2 inches. Page number: 36. A hardcover book covered with marbled paper, the spine being cloth. On the front board a cream paste decorated in black, 'Old Booty'. Within an introduction that explains the possible origin of the poem, the poem itself and 'six spirited engravings on wood from designs by Robert Cruikshank'. Condition: Fine. The contents of the book are absolutely clean, un-thumbed, apparently unread. The boards, save for a mark on the front about 1 cm long and 2 mm wide are also in excellent condition. It is my feeling that the book might have been re-bound at some point. A very good copy of an engaging tale. Seller Inventory # 000211
