Paperback. Officially? It's for Your Own Good!Behind the good intentions, the reassuring smiles, and the promises of progress often lurk the worst of human absurdities. In these 32 incisive short stories, Alain Fernandes uses black humor and biting irony to dissect a world adrift: a society where people eat "100% natural" without asking questions, where masks replace faces, where robots consume to save the GDP, and where even the end of the universe would somehow suit the bankers. With fierce satire, light dystopia, and grating reflections on technology, ecology, power, and everyday stupidity. this collection will make you smile, shudder, and above all, ask yourself: What if everything being sold to us "for our own good" was actually the problem? This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
