When honor meets love, sparks ignite... just in time for Christmas.
Colonel Nicholas Montgomery made a dying promise on a Spanish battlefield: protect Lieutenant Somerville's family at all costs. But when Nick arrives in England to fulfill that vow, he never expects to find Catherine Somerville-a fiercely independent woman who's been holding her family together through sheer determination and doesn't need rescuing.
Catherine has weathered scandal, financial ruin, and the weight of raising her younger siblings alone. When a battle-scarred colonel appears with devastating news and an even more shocking proposal-a marriage of convenience to save her family's home-duty demands she accept. But neither she nor Nick anticipate the blazing attraction that ignites between them... or how hard it will be to keep their hearts safe.
As Christmas approaches, meddling relatives, mischievous siblings, and Nick's war demons threaten to derail their carefully constructed arrangement. But perhaps the greatest Christmas gift isn't the one they bargained for-it's the love they never expected to find.
A warm and witty Regency romance filled with sparkling banter, heartfelt emotion, wounded hero healing, and festive holiday magic.
"A swoon-worthy hero and a heroine you'll root for from page one!"
"Christmas trees, candlelight, and a love story to melt your heart."
"A must-read for fans of heartfelt romance and holiday cheer."

About the Author
Violet Sinclair writes swoon-worthy Regency romance with a dash of adventure and a whole lot of heart. Splitting her time between the rolling landscapes of Italy and the sun-drenched shores of Florida, she finds inspiration in history, travel, and the occasional glass of wine on a picturesque balcony. When she's not crafting tales of love and longing, she's indulging in her own favorite romances-whether by lounging poolside with a book, wandering through cobblestone streets steeped in history, or dreaming of glittering London ballrooms. She shares her whirlwind life with her husband and their four boys, embracing every adventure, from Disney escapades to camping under the stars.
