14 volumes, some pencil underlining as described, otherwise very good red hardcover volumes (with an imitation leather appearance, called skivertex bordeaux) with clear plastic covers and inserted front and rear dust-jacket sections (jackets lack spines, as designed), several plastic covers have been reapired roughly along hinges with clear tape - Much of the text appears unused, but many sections have been read, and some substantial pencil markings, though texts remain quite usable even in marked sections. I cannot examine every page and there may be lighter or occasional markings I have missed. - Notable markings:VOLUME ONE: pencil page references on front endpaper, with markings and pencil underlining in Art et Scholatique - VOLUME THREE: plastic cover damaged, repaired with tape, page references in pencil on front endpaper, check marks and some underlining throughout Réflexions sur l'intelligence, but generally sparseVOLUME FIVE: persistent and at times heavy pencil underlining in Songe de Descartes, with pencil check marks in margins - VOLUME SEVEN: some pencil check marks, some light underlining in section on education - VOLUME NINE: some pencil underlining, page references in pencil on front endpaper, plastic cover damaged.
