In as-is condition. Boards are notably worn and scratched. Six compartment spine is scuffed, creased. Clasps missing. Fasteners remain attacked to front board. Binding broken. Missing large frontispiece. Text block is toned, worn. Missing four pages at end. Free of marginalia. A very well-loved book, most likely passed down generation to generation. An interesting piece of history! Please see photos. Later edition, fanatic woodcuts and illustrations throughou! Engraved additional pictorial title and vignettes for the months of the year, woodcuts of various flora, fauna (including a moose & elephant!), distilling equipment writhing text.
