Paperback. Despite its slender volume, this is a comprehensive English transliteration, with commentaries, by Hung Hin Cheong, a Mastery Academy instructor and an accomplished student of Joey Yap. As part of the best-selling Chinese Metaphysics Reference Series, and with a foreword by Joey Yap, this book is a necessary reference text that is required on the bookshelf of any serious student or practitioner of Xuan Kong Feng Shui. Ode to Flying Stars is one of the "Four Celebrated Poems of Xuan Kong", which is held in high regard by the Xuan Kong fraternity, notwithstanding its mysterious origins. This book is a must-read for any serious Xuan Kong students. It is an invaluable reference in your studies and practice of Xuan Kong, as it reveals its heavy usage of Trigram imagery with a refreshing approach. This transliteration is the first of its kind, providing the English version of the Ode to Flying Stars accompanied by line-by-line commentaries. There are also illustrations, charts, and relevant diagrams to provide further understanding and comprehension, and interesting anecdotes to impart snippets of information on the cultural background against which the poem was written, while situating it within the relevant historical context. Hung Hin Cheong's elegant transliteration of the Ode to Flying Stars will become your most treasured companion - along with the other three classical poems in the collection - as you embark on your journey in Xuan Kong Feng Shui studies and practice.
