In good condition, with minor rubbing and wear to boards and spine. Hinges remain in good condition and text block remains bound well. Light pencil marginalia at front of book. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce and nicely preserved religious textbook by Quaker minister George Dillwyn, designed primarily as a textbook for children and young adults. Dillwyn (1738-1820) was the brother of William Dillwyn (1743-1824) an American and later British abolitionist who was one of the 12 committee members at the founding of the Society for Effecting the Abolition of the Slave Trade in 1787.
