4to. 7 x 10 inches. viii + 234 pp. [includes 4 pp. letterpress]. Bound in original blind stamped cloth with gilt title vignette on front board. All edges gilt. Extremities worn and some erosion of corners, front board and spine sunned but otherwise a very good copy with only traces of foxing. Illustrated by engraved vignette title, by William Bonnar, R.A., engraved dedication to Queen Victoria by John Brown and 234 pp. music and lyrics engraved by Robert Home, Edinburgh.
