The dustjacket is a bit scuffed but all pages intact and legible. Good reading copy. Clean. No store stamps.--- HERE'S THE FIRST FEW SENTENCES --- --- Bracing herself against the tilt of the ship, Serena Forbes in her soft white silk coat looked curiously gallant. Her head was thrown back in a challenging way, while the salt-scented ocean breeze played gently with her softly curled bronze hair. Only the dark blue, troubled eyes and tremulous mouth showed the deep hurt that her small, straight slim figure was trying to belie.
