Frontispiece and 12 additional black & white plates with Illustratons by Goble inserted in the text (one is a facsimile of a will). Rear endpaper soiled, pencil name & address on front fly; a good / very good copy. A Lost Race adventure tale of a living city of Carthaginians in Central Africa. Also prehistoric beasts in the "Cave of Sleep". Supernatural content.
