- Small folio [approximately 12 inches high by 8 inches wide], softcover bound in dark blue wrappers titled in gilt on the front cover. 38 & [1] pages plus colophon. Illustrated in black & white with 1 full-page photographic view of Lincoln Center & with drawings. Together with an envelope printed to match the title page. Notations in red ink have been made by the previous owner on the envelope & on page 30 of the program. Small changes to the program have been noted in ink on page 8. The envelope is darkened & chipped around the edges. The program is in near fine condition. Included in this booklet are the programs for the first twelve concerts at the Philharmonic Hall, followed by illustrated essays on its design, architecture and the preparations for its opening week.Laid in are a printed sheet of program changes and a form letter about traffic and street construction work.
