Tearing to cloth at hinges. Moderate soiling, primarily to rear board. Staining to front board. Previous owner's bookplate adhered to front pastedown. Light penciling to front free endpaper, pastedown, and title page. Age toning with scattered foxing throughout textblock. Water staining throughout textblock with heavier damage in rear. Binding loosening with multiple pages detached or detaching. Textblock split between plates 28 and 29. Features 43 plates, most in black and white with some colored.
