Impressão muito nítida em belos caracteres itálicos do alfabeto latino e grego, com inicial decorada no início do texto. O verso da folha de rosto contém a dedicatória a D. João III e as páginas 3 a 28 o texto da Oração. Impressão quinhentista de Coimbra de excepcional raridade, não se conhecendo exemplares no comércio e apenas três em bibliotecas, A comprovar essa raridade está a existência de cópias manuscrita do impresso. 1ª Edição e única desta oração de sapiência pronunciada na Universidade de Coimbra, com o título - Oração em louvor e estudo de todas as partes da Filosofia. Muito importante para a compreensão da história do estudo das humanidades e para história da Universidade de Coimbra durante o período de desenvolvimento promovido durante o reinado de D. João III. Hilário Moreira (Coimbra ? - 1589) Estudou na Universidade de Coimbra, Mestre em Artes em 19 de Junho de 1549, Doutor em teologia em 16 de Outubro de 1558. Tinha tomado o hábito de Santo Agostinho, em Santa Cruz de Coimbra em 21 de Dezembro de 1530, onde faleceu em 26 de Maio de 1589. 19x13 cm. 28 pp. Recent parchment binding. Very crisp printing in beautiful italic characters of the Latin and Greek alphabet, with decorated capital at the beginning of the text. The verso of the title page contains the dedication to King John III and pages 3 to 28 the text of the Oração . A 16th century Coimbra printing of exceptional rarity, with no copies known in the trade and only three in libraries, Proof of this rarity is the existence of manuscript copies of the printing. 1st and only edition of this prayer of wisdom pronounced at the University of Coimbra, with the title - Oração em louvor e estudo de todas as partes da Filosofia (Prayer in praise and study of all parts of Philosophy) . Very important for the understanding of the history of the study of the humanities and for the history of the University of Coimbra during the period of development promoted during the reign of King John III. Hilário Moreira (Coimbra ? - 1589) He studied in the University of Coimbra, Master of Arts on June 19, 1549, Doctor in theology on October 16, 1558. He had taken the habit of St. Augustine, in Santa Cruz de Coimbra on 21 December 1530, where he died on 26 May 1589.
