ALL UK PARCELS SENT TRACKED! ALL OVERSEAS PARCELS SENT AIRMAIL, TRACKED! (New, Hardcover, 2002). (1984) 2002 new edition. 8vo (159 x 240mm). Ppvi,113. B/w photographs. Brown boards, spine titled in gilt. Fine in dust-wrapper. Brian Plummer recounts the story of his most famous Jack Russell Terrier bitch. "Omega is Brian Plummer's most famous Jack Russell terrier, star of many a rat hunt, and his book chronicles her life and adventures in the context of the author's quest for the perfect ratting terrier, a dog that might perhaps go down in history as 'the Plummer Terrier'." "The book is also a celebration of his exploits on his favourite hunting ground .For thirteen years I've hunted David's farm, thirteen of the happiest years of my life, thirteen years marred only by my failure to cope with my job as a teacher. Now in three weeks the farm will be shut down, the buildings sold, the meal sheds emptied and the rats will go. For a while they'll hang around, .but after that, nothing; and my life will take on the same meaningless note it had before I met David. The starting of this book will be difficult, the end all too damnably easy." .…
