Pp. xvi+24(last blank), 96 plates (24 coloured and hand-tipped, with lettered tissue guards), a couple of text decorations, pictorial blue endpapers, one decorative initial printed in red, the title page printed in red & black; roy. 4to; red buckram over bevelled boards, lettered and decorated in gilt, the cloth faded (heaviest on spine) and rubbed, also slightly soiled; t.e.g.; upper hinge starting, early inked ownership inscription (dated 1924) partially removed from head of half-title page, a couple of the tissue guards creased, a little light foxing and soiling; The Studio Limited, London, 1923. Edition limited to 1,500 numbered copies. *Several of the plates (mainly black & white) contain more than one image.
