Early 20th century publication illustrated with b/w reproductions of photographs showing over 30 of the famous sculptures in the Ny Carlberg Glypoetek in Copenhagen. The collection is built around the personal collection of Carl Jacobsen. Depicted are works by the artists Auguste Rodin, Paul Dubois, Ludv. Brandstrup, J. A. Jerichau, Aksel Hansen, A.V. Saabye, V. Bissen, H.W. Bissen, John Borjeson, Per Hasselberg, J.A. Mercià , L.E. Barrias, E. Delaplanche, F.M. Charpentier, L.H. Marqueste, H. Chapu, D.P. Puech, E.A. Aizelin, J.A. Houdon, Jean Gautherin, G.F. Michel, R.F. Larche, and Mac Dowell. Includes images of the "Festsaal," the "Christsaal," and the "Vintergarten." Captions in Danish, French and German. Some age wear, sunning and creasing on wraps. Majority of pages with small puncture (nailhole?) in lower margin, not affecting images. Few leaves with staining on top right corner. Wraps in good-, interior in overall good condition.
