Paperback. M. R. Roberson's latest book emphasizes the power and significance of dreams. The author's life has been profoundly influenced by the belief that dreams are a form of divine guidance. As a child, the author desired a bicycle for Christmas, similar to the main character in the book. Despite not receiving it for several Christmases, the author's unwavering faith in his father's promise strengthened his belief. This is reflected in the biblical scripture: "For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your outcome." (Jeremiah 29:11).After watching the Nutcracker Ballet composed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, five-year-old Davonte Robinson was determined to receive a life-sized nutcracker for Christmas. Despite his family's financial constraints, Davonte's father was determined to make his son's dream come true. As Christmas approached, Davonte anxiously anticipated a miraculous way to receive his dream gift. In the end, Davonte discovers that dreams come true, and his father always keeps his promises.
