The Nursery Rhyme Book is a piano, vocal and guitar songbook featuring music by various composers and bringing together over 100 well-loved children’s songs and traditional rhymes. Created for beginners and young learners, as well as parents and teachers sharing music with children, this collection combines familiar melodies with approachable arrangements for learning, lessons and relaxed singing at home.
The music is presented in standard notation with easy piano arrangements, words and chord symbols where appropriate. Piano players, singers and guitarists can share the familiar material in lessons, classrooms or family music time, while the recognisable melodies make the collection particularly accessible for developing players.
Familiar tunes give learners a natural reference point as they develop rhythm, phrasing and coordination. Instead of concentrating solely on recognising an unfamiliar melody, players can connect what they hear with what they see on the page, encouraging musical expression and making regular practice more engaging.
