On the day of the annual Powers Parade, the skies over Nova Heights ripped open and everything humanity thought it knew about heroes died in a single, shattering moment. A swirling black vortex—alive, hungry, and impossibly ancient—descended upon the city, devouring every superhuman ability it touched. The world’s most powerful defenders were stripped bare, falling from the sky like broken gods.
Amid the chaos, fires, and collapsing hope, one person remained standing.
A powerless woman.
A forgotten face in a superpowered world.
A Null.
Her name is Lila Reed, and she is the only one the vortex refuses to touch.
A World Built on Power Now Fears the PowerlessAcross the globe, armies of the once-invincible collapse. Legendary heroes lie gasping, drained and hollow. Governments panic, cities riot, and every major superhuman faction searches for someone to blame. Their terrified eyes turn to the only group left unharmed:
Nulls—the powerless, the overlooked, the outcasts.
For decades, Lila has lived at the bottom of the social ladder, shamed for what she lacks, dismissed as useless next to extraordinary siblings, coworkers, and neighbors. But now, the world that ignored her suddenly needs her—and fears her.
As whispers spread that the anomaly may have been triggered by Nulls, desperation becomes suspicion. Suspicion becomes violence. And violence becomes open persecution.
Lila is forced into the crosshairs of a world unraveling, hunted by government agencies, terrified civilians, and an unknown entity whose red-ember eyes burn with an intelligence far older than humanity itself.
A Fallen Hero. A Rising Threat. A Destiny She Never Asked For.In the heart of the dying city, Lila discovers a truth no one is prepared for: the enemy emerging from the vortex is not simply destroying powers—it is absorbing them. Growing stronger. Becoming something new.
Paragon, the world’s greatest hero, lies broken at her feet, powerless and desperate. The creature that devoured him turns its gaze toward Lila with chilling curiosity. For reasons she cannot understand, it cannot consume her. Instead, it watches her. Studies her. Wants her.
And she begins to realize her immunity may not be chance… it may be purpose.
The Powerless Must RiseAs Nulls across the world are forced into detention camps, hunted on the streets, or blamed for the destruction of entire cities, Lila becomes an unlikely symbol of resistance. With the help of a mysterious outlaw known only as the Outsider, she must navigate a labyrinth of conspiracies, betrayals, and hidden agendas.
To save what remains of humanity, Lila must decide whether to become the leader Nulls need…
or remain the invisible woman she has always been.
But when the vortex grows stronger, its shadow spreading across continents, one truth becomes terrifyingly clear:
The end of powers was only the beginning.
A Cinematic, Heart-Pounding Superhero ApocalypseNULL POINT delivers explosive action, emotionally charged drama, and a gripping mystery threaded with moral complexity. Perfect for fans of V.E. Schwab, The Boys, Marvel’s darker arcs, Invincible, and pulse-pounding dystopian thrillers.
