Item description from seller

Edition not stated. Probable first. 8vo. 186 pages. Illustrated with photographs. Acknowledgment. Cased in brown hard covers with all stamping in gilt. Inscribed in blue ink on the front free endpaper by Ray De Autremont, dated September 3, 1981. Not a library discard. A fine copy in a very good, modestly worn dust jacket. Ray De Autremont (1900-1984) was the last surviving member of the trio of brothers who attempted to hold up Southern Pacific Railroad express train No. 13 on its way from Oregon to California in October, 1923. No loot was gained for their effort and four members of the train crew were murdered in cold blood by the brothers.
