The ancient mystics termed this enlightenment Sahaja Samadhi. As Oya Zen-Rama discovers, this profoundly peaceful state is a natural consequence of the stunning insight that, in reality, there’s nothing happening!
This collection of verse is an outpouring from the inner voice over a four-year period, from 2013 to 2016. It is a contemporary song and dance about an age-old mystery and a celebration of the journey towards enlightenment and life beyond enlightenment. An interesting, introspective collection of verse, there is something in each poem that relates to us all.
The spontaneous poetry contained herein documents stunning spiritual realizations blow by blow. It offers a new testament to the aliveness of our non-dual reality and the freshness and fun of our inner voice. It is a guide to those walking the path of love and a light celebrating our true nature as we make a courageous leap into enlightened reality.

Burning Up in Red-Hot Love
There's nothing more Beautiful Than the light From the sun And the wind In the trees.
The Essential Satsang Transmission
What is this foolish idea of an identity?
It's hogwash!
Layers upon layers from true reality
Distorting, confusing, crippling.
I am nobody in particular
(Working through a body) —
A nothing
(Exactly!),
Simply present.
Here!
Now!
A witness,
Simply existing.
And intelligently response-able
To participate and enjoy;
To delightfully receive in gratitude
And creatively give in gratitude.
Give "your" self up in the moment!
The time is now
To lose it!
Sex Talk
Surrender; share yourself.
Enjoy the other totally.
X marks the spot; explore.
Take your sweet time.
Arouse the whole body.
Lose control; let go.
Kiss and caress afterwards.
(As Rumi says, the way you make love
Is the way God will be with you!)
This Is a Love Affair
You don't do meditation.
Meditation does you,
Like handing your body over to a lover
Who you have great trust will surprise and please you
In far better ways than you know and can do for yourself!
Ordinariness Transformation
"Being seen as brilliant"
And "being loved by others"
Are a hell of a lot different than
"Enjoying life"
And "loving people."
It's time to shift focus!

Melt and Merge
The giving tree,
The tranquil lake,
The starlit sky,
The birds that sing,
The luscious green grass,
The radiant sun,
The beauteous flowers,
Their fragrance on the breeze —
I melt into you
As snow melts in spring.
I merge with you
As two lovers become one.
This Paradise
I came to be.
I came to fall.
Around me, within me,
Take it all.
There is no greater lover
This paradise unknown!
It's not a matter of time.
You're already home!
My quest for truth unmatched,
My heart is a seer!
The clothing covering my skin a wall
Between me and my new lover.
This gift, this beauty, this orange splendour!
Oh constant, oh changing,
Oh roaring ocean,
Like a river, I rush towards you.
The Internal Map to Ecstasy
Hallelujah!

Abundance
Synchronised
Yes, yes, yes, yes!
Eureka!
Zazen
Fold it away.
Kiss it good day.
Three sighs of relief
Will help it be brief.
Forgive and forget;
Lose all regret.
For the promise of tomorrow,
No need to beg, steal, or borrow.
It's not you who will levitate
When you rush to educate, And
that know-it-all chatterbox
Certainly knows not!
There's nothing to do,
Nowhere to go,
Just to enjoy
And embrace what comes to you.
Nothing required,
Nothing desired.
Simply be here;
Simple be now.

The Blessed Return of Innocence
These are a few Of my favourite things ... to do:
• Dancing barefoot on the grass
• Riding a push bike without hands
• Headstands and handstands
• Listening to ecstatic music
• Colouring in
• Splashing in the bath
• Being naked in nature
• Juggling oranges
• Skipping with the wind
• Swinging in the trees
• Any combination of these together (And then sitting silently — not doing anything!)
That
The start of your favourite song
The first sip of your morning coffee
The unconditional hug from a parent
An afternoon swim on a hot day
The touch from your lover
The first sip on your evening wine
Retiring to bed at the end of a long day
The morning sun on your skin
The moment before orgasm An
uncontrollable belly laugh The
tears of joy and forgiveness
The moment of epiphany and clarity
That!
If Life Is So Simple and So Beautiful ...
Then how have I made it so complicated and miserable?
Consciously see and taste the simple beauty of it, and in turn, you will see the "I" that creates hell for you in simple contrast, in simple comparison. And then begin to witness it; slowly, slowly, you will understand how this "I" functions. In the seeing will be the disappearing. In the disappearing, life's sublime simplicity and elegant beauty will be revealed as the permanent host — eternally here! True happiness, true peace, bliss beyond measure, ever present!
Be calm. Rest in Me.
Enjoy the love I have for you!
Not My Idea to Be Here
What to do with this life?
Always carried as a heavy burden!
Let go,
Let go and flow ...
Surrender to the part of you that wants you here,
That gives you life! That is your life source!
Your will is my will.
Your will be done!
The Sacred Gateway
Love is
The sacred gateway
To dhyana ("meditation").
Wakefulness
Is sweeter
Than any dream!
Bring On Your Own Death
There is only life
After death.
Before death,
There is only death!
Bring on your own death
As soon as possible
To be free in the Kingdom
And to be an immortal being!
Adi Shakti
Try as I may,
I stop to bow down.
I am humbled completely,
Then exalted totally,
Both
At the same time
In no time!
And I am whole.
Everything/Nothing
What appears to be everything
Is actually nothing.
And what appears to be nothing
Is actually everything.
It's a trick of the light!
Oh, the emptiness of things
And the potency of nothing!
Languor Here
Languor here Be
a languorleer!
Volunteer!
There's nothing to fear.
Rest your bones;
Claim our thrones.
Now, sweetly alone,
Be welcome, home.
Throw You Overboard
I am the hunter.
You are the treasure,
Inexpressible
Beyond measure!
Sweet ecstasy,
A river of milk to me,
I bathe in you,
Splish-splash in you!
I am free!
Come with me
To the sea —
The sea of love!
I want to show you,
Sow you,
Grow you,
Throw you
Overboard
— To
discover the lord
Of your being
In this seeing!
And Then,
Nothing Happened!
"Sweetheart,"
He whispered,
"There is no separation."
* * *
"Life is sweet,
Like deep wells of honey."
* * *
"The world is of me,
But I am not in the world."
* * *
"You are bliss —
Supreme Bliss!
For what do you hurt yourself?"
* * *
"Nothing has ever happened,
And is ever happening ...
And it is so beautiful!"
In the Blue of Oblivion
To be or not to be
Is not the question.
How to be beyond?
That is the
question!
I Close My Eyes
At night,
I close my eyes
To fall asleep.
Again in the morning,
I close my eyes
To wake up!
Nirvana
Never-ending
Immaculate
Radiant
Void
Absolute
Never beginning
Absolute
Satchitananda
When the Is (Sat: truth, absolute existence)
And the I (Chit: consciousness, sense "I am")
(Love) [right arrow] Unite [left arrow] (wisdom),
There only Is (Ananda: bliss),
A tremendous cosmic orgasm
Showering catastrophic amounts of bliss!
Marinating in Bliss Supreme,
This body is unable to stand or walk,
Flying in the boundless inner sky
Of pure awareness!
Gone,
Gone beyond,
Gone beyond beyond
To awakening – such grace!
Open Your Eyes
If sitting silently With
your eyes closed
Was absolutely more than enough,
What would life be like
When you opened
Your eyes?
Oh dear ones,
We live
In an extravagant Kingdom!
Stratospheric
Last night, the moon was uncomfortably close
And the distant stars so near.
I was leaping from one planet to the next
Like stepping stones
To Infinity.
The objects around me and within me felt erasable
With the swipe of my ...
Hand?
Including this body
That I was within and without.
All was insubstantial like smoke;
In an infinitesimally small
And infinitesimally
Large —
But seen as perfectly brilliant,
I kept on leaping
And twirling
And giggling!
Twelve Years His Prisoner
God absolutely arrested me
And held me prisoner
For twelve years
Until I fully realised
That He was me,
And I was Him!
Only then
Were we set free!
The Tree of Life
I am permanently bowed at the feet,
Kissing the feet
Of the Master —
The vastness loving itself
In playful revelry!
It lives through this bowed posture;
I live no more!
Of this tree, I shall eat
Everlasting!
From the Background
I see you
So sweetly,
So innocently
In drunken
Forgetfulness.
I offer you
So sweetly
My cup,
Overfilled
With intoxicating
Remembrance!
Metamorphosis
Three days ago,
I swallowed a caterpillar,
This body
Now a cocoon.
In deep rest,
Such iridescent,
Fragile beauty
Is destined to emerge!
Return to the Garden,
Throbbing with Life
Life is throbbing
One thousandfold
With beyond-orgasmic bliss,
Forever nourishing
Here and now.
All One!
Absolutely all-one —
Magnificently alone!
This Garden is
so alive!
* * *
The Truth is too good
To just be true;
It is absolute!
The Garden with Nobody in It
Is this really planet Earth that you're on?
Or is it just
The appearance
Of a body
In a garden,
Floating
In an endless,
Unfathomable space?
Oh dear ones,
The some-body
Thinking that this
Is planet Earth
Is indeed
The very — small — problem,
Creating such an
unnecessary fuss
Over sweet nothing!
(Somebody has been eating fruit
From the wrong tree.)
The Tree of Knowledge
Thoughts, concepts, and knowledge are no problem at all! It's just our investment, our belief in them, our identification with them that send perfectly balanced things topsy-turvy. These are our steps away from reality, existence, and God and out of the Garden of perfect, brilliant stillness — bliss.
Go back! Return to innocence!
Cut the cords of identification. Indeed, no thought is you — why separate yourself from your Self, from your Supreme Bliss? Look at the Tree of Knowledge and its fruits ... but do not eat them! The Tree of Knowledge and its fruits being there, and our looking at them, is of no harm — they are beautiful as they are. It's just the eating, the digesting them as you, that is our mistake and the poison!
(Sex is purely innocent, natural and fun; a celebration of life and "God", and certainly not the forbidden fruit! Our beliefs and ideas about sex, however – like all other phenomenon – is where the trouble starts)
A Flower in This Garden
I am not a person
But a flower in this Garden.
Basking in the light,
Dancing in the breeze,
Roots deep
In the most nourishing soil!
One Dancing Abundance
We are bliss
Because we are nothing!
We are love
Because we are everything!
Singing a Song of Great Celebration
I feel I am bathed in white light,
Completely fresh,
As though I have not lived a day of life!
I am singing a song of great celebration
For all those who would like to drink
From this overflowing cup
Of divine remembrance!
Totally Fulfilled
I have no personal desires —
Totally fulfilled!
I am absolutely — blissfully — nothing!
So whatever comes
Is
Only of
Absolutely loving everything!
No questions.
No answers.
No mind!
Absolute freedom,
The majesty dancing!
Gently Comb
When these eyes are closed,
I am blissfully happy!
When they are open,
I am enormously in love!
Oh dear ones,
For where would I go?
And what should I do?
This world could slow down a little. We
could gently comb each other's hair.
Not a Hair out of Place
I am not in control;
I'm in love!
And it is so beautiful,
So perfect,
There's not a hair out of place!
The Freedom of Your Own Heart Singing
Love has never hurt you;
It has only ever nourished you!
What hurt
There was when the thing that love was attached to
Was taken away.
However,
Love is not a thing
Attached to any other thing.
It is the freedom
Of your own heart
Singing!
Life after Life: The Cycle of Life
Dawn
Seemingly has no past
Even to it!
It is blessed to have forgotten the previous day,
And it glows luminous.
Twilight
Seemingly has no future
Even to it!
It is blessed with the deep relaxation of night falling,
And it, too, glows luminous.
But night follows day
And day follows night.
It is not a line but a circle,
Not of time but eternity!
All illuminated!
Be Still and Know
Be still and know
That which is
is God!
Be still and know
That which is that you are —
That is so easily taken for granted
(All that constitutes this precious moment),
That is so obvious that it's overlooked, That
which you exist in and as,
Here, now, eternally,
This that is —
Is God!
* * *
Be
Still;
Know
I am here
And I am God.
All is taken care of!
The Majesty Dancing
Somewhere in between
The mind that thinks it's "doing"
And the witnessing presence
That doesn't "do"
Is a miraculous happening!
Call it
Natural life,
Loving creation,
Spontaneous action,
Or the majesty dancing!
* * *
No separate entity
Called the "doer"
Remains.
I Am
I am the sun that's shining,
The rose that's blooming,
The tree that dances in the wind.
I am the clear blue sky.
Oh Seeker! Oh Teacher!
Seeker, teacher,
Teacher, seeker —
The seeker's the sought;
The teacher's the taught!
Neither, neither,
Neither, neither —
Neither's the receiver!
Neither's the redeemer!
God Is the Deejay
God is the Deejay; dance without fear.
God is the Driver; just let Him steer.
She is the Maximiser of all things near,
And the Minimiser! Why hold things so dear?
God is the Enchantment in eyes sparkling so clear.
He is the Lover whispering in your ear.
God is the Comforter for every shed tear.
She is the Energiser for those who volunteer.
God is the Remunerator, and the only career.
He is the Wonderment in every great seer.
God is the Backdrop, forever now here,
The All-Provider, without sled or reindeer!
She is the Event Organiser; applaud Her and cheer.
He is the Decorator of His own colourful veneer.
God is the Drunkard at Her party without beer.
God is the Dancer, heart beating to revere.
And God is definitelythe Deejay —
dance!
Don't interfere.
Amazing Grace
A love poem to Osho
Osho, my love! Beloved one,
Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, your love
Immeasurable ... immutable ... immaculate ...
Your grace — the Master's grace — now, here
Guiding my whole life, hiding in me, beckoning me,
Shown surfacing in your Supreme Presence!
Now your grace is enrapturing me,
Now permeating all that is!
Only your grace is
Grace fulfilling!
Osho, this love —
Such love —
I love you.
Love is.
Only
You
Are.
Dancing in the Light
It's like a thousand fireworks are going off in me, Celebrating each and every new moment!
Forever Dance
I am overflowing,
And yet, I have nothing!
I am in the arms of the Beloved!
Dance, Oya Zen-Rama, dance —
Forever dance!
Non-trying
I'm non-trying
For anything!
This beard just grows.
This hair
Just gets blonder in the sun.
These body parts
Just dance when they hear music.
This heart just loves.
These eyes
Just see God ... everywhere!
I am simply
Myself!
This! This! A Thousand Times This!
This!
This constant
This constant exquisite
This constant exquisite atomic This
constant exquisite atomic bliss
This constant exquisite atomic bliss dancing
This constant exquisite atomic bliss dancing me!
This constant exquisite atomic bliss dancing
This constant exquisite atomic bliss
This constant exquisite atomic
This constant exquisite
This constant
This!
No Where, Nowhere, Now Here
The mind
Is under an illusion
That it's its job
To get you somewhere.
But in reality —
Which is more than the mind can conceive of —
There is nowhere to get.
It is now here!
Eaten Alive
The Beloved
Swallowed me whole,
Like a big lizard
Eating a much smaller lizard.
These forty days and forty nights in the bush
Were Him finishing me off —
Chewing my wiggling little tail
That I dropped in fear
When He suddenly grabbed me
In His mouth!
There was no escape!
Now He licks His lips,
All happy to have me.
Who Are You?
I say,
"Remember! And forgive.
And never forget again
Who you are!"
Always Party Time!
No time wasted.
No wait time.
No time!
But if time you must,
Then it's
always
Party time!
(Without hesitation,
Treat your love like a celebration!)
You Will Find Me There
Love
Loved me
Out of existence;
I am it!
That which you love in me
Is within you!
Go within,
And you will find me there!
Sky-High
Beyond freedom,
There is no I
To fly in the sky.
Just sky I am —
Sky-high!
In Bloom
One is totally freed
From the judging mind
When compassion
Flowers.
More Than I Can Hold
I didn't want to ask for too much,
And yet all has been given,
More than I can hold —
Beyond gratitude!
Complete,
Whole
I am.
Sing Instead
What to say
When there's nothing to say?
I'll sing instead ...
And dance and play!
Nobody/Everybody
I am the no-thing that's everything
That all somethings are in.
I am the no-body that's everybody
That all somebodies are in.
I am the no-where that's everywhere
That all somewheres are in.
Seek me with all your heart and mind!
You will not only be some-what pleased,
Like holidaying some-where,
Meeting some-body,
Or discovering some-thing.
You will be so far beyond "your"self,
You will not be able to contain the immensity!
Not Two
I am not two,
And I am not stretched across time.
I am one,
And I am now!
Big Bang
When the heart
Explodes,
What to do
But be totally
Obliterated!
Say goodbye To
"me" and "you."
I am
Only
One
Having
This
Absolute
Blast!
