[iv], 31, [1] pages + the six cabinet sized photographs which are glued to pages. Corrigenda leaf tipped in after page [iv]. In the original cloth binding which is darkened and soiled. The rear board and spine are unevenly faded. Ink ownership inscription to the front free end paper dated 1926. Creasing to some pages, mainly the pages on which are pasted the photographs, but also to text pages. Title page not dated, but the introduction is dated November 1868.
