Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket; Hardcover; Oblong 4to 11" - 13" tall; Signed and inscribed by Bill Stanley ("To Kim"). 408 pages, bound in light brown cloth. Profusely illustrated with black & white photos. Very clean cover; binding firm; corners sharp. Shows modest shelf wear at base of spine. Interior crisp and clean. Jacket has some scratches; shallow tear & short crease on back edge. Bill Stanley's seventh book covers the history of the 9 Mile Square, the 82 square miles that was deeded to European settlers by the embattled Mohegan tribe as a reward for help in their battles with the Narragansetts.
