96; 96 p. 25 cm. 26 b&w photos and line drawings. Two years bound together. Black leather with gold and black impressing. Wear to spine ends and corners. Crease along centre of pages (likely from the original reader, prior to binding, folding individual issues while reading. Pages clean. England's North Road Club was founded in 1885 to promote fast and long distance bicycle riding on the Great North and other roads. Issues describe excursions of the members (complete with liquid refreshments at various termini), speeches from Annual Dinners, official notices, lists of new members, etc. Edwardian gentlemen combining fun with exercise.
