The Genealogical Forum of Oregon (GFO) has been around since
1946 and is the largest genealogy library between Seattle
and San Francisco. While we have a strong Pacific Northwest
collection, over 80% of our holdings focus on other states
and countries. Our library has over 33,000 titles in the
collection and it grows daily thanks to donations from
members and friends. Many of the materials we are given
duplicate materials on our shelves and this allows us sell
the surplus to help with our expenses.
The GFO is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charitable
organization with no paid staff. All sale and order
fulfillment is done by volunteers. Every purchase you make
benefits our library, so doing a good job is important to
us.
