Small folio. Unpaginated. Original half tan cloth over illustrated paper covered boards. Rare and fascinating second sample book of the famous German wallpaper manufacturer "Norta". This work contains 127 full-page, 1 quarter-page samples and 6 half-page Norta "Permant" samples. Ten color interior design illustrations displaying some of the wallpaper samples are bound-in. This is a very interesting close look into the art of tapestry in 1939 Nazi Germany. Minor rubbing along edges and on front cover. Four black stains on back cover. Spine and joints slightly soiled. Previous owner's stamp on free front endpaper, and dated 1939. Text and captions in German. Binding in overall good to very good, interior in near fine condition. Seller Inventory # 24695
