Item description from seller

Novelization by Arline de Haas of the 1929 movie starring Dolores Costello. Illustrated with 8 black & white plates. Undated but probably 1930. THE WRAPPER : The evocative wrapper on this copy is bright, clean, complete and unclipped. It shows light wear and tiny nicks to the spine ends and rubbing to the leading edge corner tips. Looks sharp in protective plastic. THE BOOK : The book is tight. The boards are unfaded and the corners are sharp. There is a touch of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The pages are clean, though ( as usual with Readers Library titles) the text block and closed page edges are browned. The closed page edges are flecked. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are fragile but solid. A nice copy of a fragile book. Paypal accepted.
