Ancients wrote that everything comes from nothing, and everything returns to nothing. Starfall: the war to end all wars only saw an end to the light as the stars themselves were destroyed. Only black holes remain slowly devouring what life still remains in the universe known by all as the Great Maw. Amongst some of the survivors is the Earth colonial prison ship the Alcatraz which has evolved into a technofeudal society of haves and have nots. Crew has survived the last two thousand years by hiding in the void, salvaging what they could find, and fending off vicious raiders, but after a hull breach depletes oxygen reserves it forces them to make a devil's bargain with a strange alien known as Magnus Void. Plan is to launch a dangerous assault on a Ancients science outpost teeming with automated security where a secret project was worked on during the war.
Oxygen crisis threatens to tear apart the Alcatraz from within ripping open long held grudges, old family feuds, and long held hatred. Captain Gabriel Solomon struggles to hold the fracturing crew together long enough to learn the Ancients secrets that Magnus teases, but even his own children have been swept into the strife by the lords stoking their people to tear at each other throats. Magnus warns the Ancients greatest enemies watches over the Ancients outpost trying to keep the secrets from being reclaimed. This sapient energy species known as the Reverie rules an empire known only as the Cacophony of Discordance that maintains dominion over all of the Great Maw Fear by all they've remained shrouded in the darkness, and few who have met them have every survived to tell the tale.
Alcatraz's only hope for survival maybe Gabriel's youngest son Matthew who has born his father's hatred all his life. Rebelling against the warrior lineage and doctrine of the Solomon family he has tried to understand the magnitude of history to help the people of the Alcatraz avoid repeating the same mistakes, but Magnus has plans for him. Plans that will change not only the future of Matthew, the Alcatraz, and the entire Great Maw. It could be the last chance to resurrect the light by fulfilling an ancient mysterious abyssal prophecy left behind by the Ancients.
Get your copy today and immerse yourself in an enthralling sci-fi saga. Can the Alcatraz crew defy the darkness and unlock the secrets of the Ancients before it's too late? Find out in this mesmerizing page-turner.
