The book is in Good+ condition, accompanied by a Very Good (VG) dust jacket. It is quarter bound in cream paper boards with a beige spine, adding an elegant touch to its appearance. While the covers are in good shape, the spine ends show signs of being crushed. The dust jacket exhibits light to moderate shelf wear and a few small light stains on the inserts but has no major tears or chips, preserving its overall integrity. The upper edge of the text block, paste-downs, and endpapers exhibit foxing, adding to its vintage charm. However, the binding remains square and tight, ensuring the book's durability. A small abrasion is present at the top of the front paste-down. The interior pages are clean and unmarked, allowing you to fully enjoy the stories within. To ensure its safe arrival, the book will be carefully packaged for shipment, providing protection from the elements. As part of our commitment to excellent service, a USPS electronic tracking number will be issued free of charge, allowing you to monitor the progress of your shipment.Experience the masterful storytelling of Stephen King's "Night Shift" with this valuable 3rd edition. Originally published in 1978, Night Shift is the inspiration for over a dozen acclaimed horror movies and television series, including Children of the Corn, Chapelwaite, and Lawnmower Man.
Here we see mutated rats gone bad (“Graveyard Shift”); a cataclysmic virus that threatens humanity (“Night Surf,” the basis for The Stand); a possessed, evil lawnmower (“The Lawnmower Man”); unsettling children from the heartland (“Children of the Corn”); a smoker who will try anything to stop (“Quitters, Inc.”); a reclusive alcoholic who begins a gruesome transformation (“Gray Matter”); a man convinced that a crack in the closet is responsible for the murder of his children ("The Boogeyman"); and many more shadows and visions that will haunt you long after the last page is turned.

Store description
Alien Bindings is an online bookshop located in Baltimore that has been in operation for nearly 20 years. Alien Bindings caters to the sciences including the physical sciences, astronomy, mathematics, computer science, the social sciences and medicine. I also dabble in a wide array of other categories including antiquarian books and history. I run a clean, green business. I try to reuse clean materials for packaging whenever possible. For example, books are carefully packaged frequently using clean cardboard for custom made boxes, recycled paper is used for printed labels and recycled plastic or bubble wrap is used for a weather-proof barrier. I drop the packages off to my local post office via foot or cycle in order to further reduce the carbon footprint.…
