An account of the kidnapping and beating of labor leaders Robert Minor (chairman of the National Gallup Defense Committee) and David Levinson (lawyer for the Defense Committee) by a group of vigilantes. Both men were involved in the International Labor Defense's campaign in support of railroaded miners accused of killing a sherrif during labor disputes in Gallup, New Mexico. The ILD was a Communist Party front group that merged with the National Federation for Constitutional Liberties in 1946 to form the Civil Rights Congress. Stapled wrappers (7 ¼" x 5 ¼"), 14 p.
