From the 34 volume set printed from the edition corrected by the author in 1867 & 1868. With the original frontispiece/illustrations and tissue overlays. In green cloth with gilt to type and design motif on cover and spine. Top page ends gilt, the others have deckled edges. Fading to spine and adjacent portions of boards. Some intermittant foxing, marks and creases. Light wear to spine ends with short tear to the heel of volume two. Solid bindings.
