nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Nice Distinctions: A Tale is a novel written by Longman Hurst Rees Orme And Brown in 1820. The story revolves around the lives of two sisters, Lucy and Caroline, who are brought up in different households. Lucy grows up with her mother and stepfather, while Caroline is raised by her wealthy father. The two sisters have very different experiences and personalities, which are highlighted throughout the book. Lucy is portrayed as a kind and loving person, who values her relationships with others above all else. She is often taken advantage of by those around her, but she never loses her gentle nature. Caroline, on the other hand, is selfish and vain, and is more concerned with her own social status than with the feelings of others. The novel explores the themes of class, wealth, and social status, as well as the importance of personal values and character. It also touches on the idea of fate and the role it plays in shaping our lives. Overall, Nice Distinctions: A Tale is a thought-provoking and engaging novel that offers a glimpse into the social dynamics of early 19th-century England. It is a must-read for anyone interested in classic literature and the history of the time period. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.…
