Price sticker on front board. No signatures.; This volume only. The first volume is a 1972 facsimile reprint of the revised 1959 edition of Part I. Text bi-lingual in Te Reo Maori and English. Red boards with Maori kowhaiwhai design in red, black and white. Page dimensions: 246 x 146mm. [This title was originally compiled by Apirana Ngata and published in two volumes in 1928-1929. Pei Te Hurunui revised and made English translations for a revised edition of these two volumes, which was published in 1959-1961. A third volume with more translations by Pei te Hurunui Jones was published in 1970.].
